Michael Lommertz

Michael is the founder and CEO of zero emission studio, a practice dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainable architecture. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has been at the forefront of some of Norway's most ambitious sustainability and zero-emission building projects in recent years.

He previously led the Sustainability Program of the Norwegian Architects Association (NAL), before joining Statsbygg, the Norwegian government's building agency. Later, he headed the sustainability department at Bollinger + Grohmann Engineers in Oslo, where he played a key role in integrating environmental strategies into complex architectural and engineering projects. Michael gives guided tours with a special focus on the environment and sustainability.
