Don Lawrence

Don Lawrence studied architecture at The Cooper Union in New York and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Born in Jamaica, he has called Norway home since 2005. From his studio in Oslo, Don has led his own practice, Don Lawrence Arkitekt AS, for over 15 years, working across architecture, art, and interdisciplinary projects.

His work explores the intersection of architecture, landscape, identity, and artistic expression, often with a deep sensitivity to place and belonging. Don also has a strong interest in the relationship between architecture and tourism, and how the built environment can communicate culture, nature, and lived experience.
