Alexandra Cruz

Alexandra studied architecture at the Lisbon School of Architecture, University of Lisbon, and has a Master of Arts from Central Saint Martins, College of Arts and Design, London. Her professional background includes design practice in exhibitions and scenography, teaching, curatorial mediation and cultural programming at the intersection of architecture, art and society. Before moving to Oslo in 2006 Alexandra worked in the Architecture and Desing Department from the Arts Institute of the Ministry of Culture in Portugal, where she was part of the team that organized the Official Portuguese Representations in the Venice and Sao Paulo Architecture Biennials. From 2015 to 2026 Alexandra was Head of Programme and International Collaborations at the Oslo Architecture Triennale.
